What is Neighborhood Watch?

It provides members with the opportunity to make their neighborhoods safer and improve the quality of life. Neighborhood Watch groups typically focus on observation and awareness as a means of preventing crime and employ strategies that range from simply promoting social interaction and “watching out for each other” to active patrols by groups of members.  Community members only serve as the extra “eyes and ears” and should report their observations of suspicious activities to their co-captains or local law enforcement.   The reason for this effectiveness is simple: Involving community members in watch programs decreases opportunities for criminals to commit crime rather than attempting to change their behavior or motivation.

Bullying is unwanted aggressive behavior.  Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.  Please contact me if you need complaint forms.   Our goal is to foster a new feeling of caring and belonging among neighbors.  Those who are interested in what goes on in our community may join.   Nextdoor is the fastest way to get info out.  Here is the link:   https://nextdoor.com/invite/dmnsdrfwlgghpkthlqpk
